The Ski Club of Great Britain Launches New Women’s Hub

The Ski Club has launched a dedicated hub for female skiers that compiles a series of articles, reviews and features that highlight women in skiing.

There’s a strong emphasis on the right gear for women with reviews of ski clothing and hardware as well as interviews with Olympians and World Cup Champions. Hub voices include female skiers such as Chemmy Alcott, four time Winter Olympian and Honorary President of the Ski Club, through to Akira Bonney, an apprentice instructor with the charity Snowcamp.

Emily Morgan, Partnerships Manager said: “The Ski Club has a significant percentage of female members and reps out in resort and we are often asked questions around gear and trips that are suitable. This hub is designed as an information portal for all female skiers to help provide the best guidance and tips to enhance their skiing experience.”

The Ski Club of Great Britain has unveiled a new Women’s Hub, a dedicated space bringing together reviews, interviews and know-how tailored to female skiers. From fit-first gear advice to inspiration from Olympians and grassroots voices, the hub aims to make it easier for women to find the right kit, build confidence and progress on snow.

What’s inside

  • Gear that actually fits and functions: Curated reviews of women’s skis, boots and outerwear, with clear takeaways on performance, warmth and comfort. The hub signposts into the Ski Club’s broader test programme so readers can compare top picks and dial in setups that work for their body and skiing style. Role models & real talk: Features and Q&As spotlight names you’ll recognise, Chemmy Alcott, four-time Winter Olympian and the Ski Club’s Honorary President—as well as emerging voices from the UK scene, including Akira Bonney, an apprentice instructor with the charity Snow Camp.

  • Community pathways: From getting started to levelling up, the hub collects practical tips, travel ideas and progression routes—whether you’re planning your first lesson or chasing your next badge.

Why it matters

Women’s-specific kit has leapt forward in recent seasons, but cutting through choice is tough. A single destination that blends independent reviews, trusted advice and first-hand experience helps female skiers make better decisions, and spend more time enjoying the mountains.
