Inghams Ski Report Ski Holidays By Rail Bookings Up 90%

Ski holiday company Inghams Ski has announced its winter 2025/26 programme, adding new resorts across Europe and Canada, expanding its chalet portfolio, and increasing rail connectivity to the Alps. The UK-based ski holiday specialist now offers access to 80 resorts in eight countries, with notable additions in Norway, Switzerland, Italy and Finland.

New destinations include Drei Zinnen in Italy, Laax in Switzerland, Pyhä in Finland, and Geilo in Norway. The company has also introduced nine new properties across Italian resorts such as Champoluc, Sauze d’Oulx and Madonna di Campiglio, alongside fresh accommodation options in Austria, France and Canada.

Rail travel continues to grow, with over 30% of Inghams resorts now reachable by train. The Eurostar Snow Train returns from 20 December 2025 to 28 March 2026, operating for a month longer than last season. It will serve eight French resorts including Courchevel, Méribel and Val Thorens, with demand for their ski holidays by rail packages already up 90% year-on-year, Inghams report.

Managing Director John Mansell said: “There are great deals still to be had on our December holidays, including over Christmas and New Year. We’ve expanded our resort and chalet offering, and rail holidays are proving more popular than ever.”

Lift pass promotions include buy one, get one half price across Europe, and buy one, get one free in Norway. New ‘Learn to Ski’ packages are available in all Norwegian resorts, combining tuition, equipment hire and lift access.

Sample packages include seven nights in Tignes from £999pp (self-catering, including train travel), or half board in Geilo from £799pp (including charter flights from Gatwick).
