The sun has been shining and yes, it’s only May, but while most Brits are still booking their summer holidays, some ski companies are warning that their December and Easter availability is dropping fast.
VIP SKI reports 71% of its chalets are snapped up for Christmas 2025, with no deals expected this festive season. The week before Christmas (14 Dec), seen as one of the season’s cheaper weeks, is already 88% sold, and Easter’s filling fast too (74% sold).
“Smart skiers are already locking in their festive escapes. A growing trend shows skiers shifting their focus to Christmas and Easter getaways, snapping up festive dates early to avoid price hikes and limited availability. Skiers hoping for last minute bargains may be in for a shock this season, hesitation means hibernation,” a press statement on behalf of the company claims.
