Manchester’s iconic indoor snow facility, Chill Factore, has officially been renamed The Snow Centre Manchester, marking a major milestone in Snowcentres Limited’s national rebranding strategy.
The move aligns Manchester with its sister site in Hemel Hempstead under a unified identity: The Snow Centre. The rebrand reflects a broader ambition to create a cohesive, year-round destination for snowsports enthusiasts across the UK.
“This is more than a name change for Chill Factore and a logo refresh for Hemel,” said Ian Brown, Managing Director of Snowcentres Limited. “It’s the beginning of a bold new era — creating a national destination for snow lovers that’s accessible, inspiring, and fit for the future.”
Opened in 2007, Chill Factore quickly became a flagship venue for indoor snowsports, boasting the UK’s longest real snow slope and drawing visitors from across the country.
The Manchester site, located at Trafford City, will unveil new signage visible from the M60 motorway, reinforcing its status as one of the UK’s premier real snow venues. A refreshed visual identity, inspired by alpine motifs like ski turns and fresh tracks, aims to evoke the thrill of a bluebird day on the slopes.
The Snow Centre Manchester will continue to offer ski and snowboard lessons, freestyle sessions, and family snow fun — all on real snow, all year round.
