Chocolate Spa Day, Cocktails & Fondue in Gstaad

Chocolate lovers will be in their element at Gstaad’s Le Grand Bellevue hotel which has unveiled a new activity programme to mark its December reopening for the 25-26 ski season.

The hotel will invite guests to embark on a chocolate journey, that begins with a chocolate-themed spa day, move on to chocolate cocktails and culminates with a chocolate fondue.

The series of cocoa-related activities that begin at Le Grand Spa. As one of the largest spas in the region, it will offer the cocoa indulgence ritual, a revitalising full-body scrub of mineral-rich salt, sugar, coffee, and cocoa oils, followed by a warm Swiss chocolate body wrap in a private steam room. The experience will conclude with a personalised massage and time to unwind with seasonal fruit and Swiss chocolate in hand.

Evenings begin with the new chocolate cocktail creations by the fire, from the Bellevue Chocolate Infusion to the Al Capone, both blended with coffee and a hint of liqueur.

Guests can then retreat to Le Petit Chalet, the property’s cosy mountain log cabin seating just 18 people, for an array of traditional and unique fondues such as moitié-moitié, goat cheese, black truffle, vegan, and Toblerone chocolate, available exclusively at Le Petit Chalet.

“As one of Switzerland’s favourite treats, this fondue is rich, velvety and nostalgic, the perfect finale to an evening of chocolate delight,” a spokesperson for Le Grand Bellevue concluded.
