Club Adds Ski Simulator to Infinity Slope

South Wilts Ski Club has become the first facility in the UK to house both an Infinity Slope and a SkyTech Ski Simulator under one roof, bringing world-class ski training and innovation to Wiltshire.

Following the launch of its Infinity dry ski slope in October last year, the Club has now installed the SkyTech Simulator, creating a unique indoor ski hub that combines precision coaching with immersive, gamified performance tracking.

Infinity Slope

The Infinity Slope (pictured below) is a revolving dry surface that replicates the feel of skiing on snow, offering continuous, controlled terrain ideal for both beginners and advanced skiers. The slope moves constantly towards you in a similar way to a runners treadmill with the machine able to run at different speeds and gradients according to skier ability. This cutting-edge slope can accommodate two skiers at a time, making it perfect for personalised coaching or family-friendly sessions.

SkyTech Simulator

The newly added SkyTech Simulator (pictured top) provides a digital slalom experience, allowing users to fine-tune their technique, monitor progress in real-time, and even compete for leaderboard rankings. It is suitable for one skier at a time and includes space for spectators: ideal for parents watching their children develop new skills.

To mark the addition of the new simulator, the club is launching its Ski-Ready Summer Series: A four-session coaching package designed to build confidence and improve technique ahead of the winter season. Each session includes one hour of personalised coaching using either or both technologies and is available at a special summer rate.

Priced at £400 for four one-hour sessions the Ski Ready Summer Series allows up to three participants per session (two users on the Infinity Slope, one user on the SkyTech Simulator at any one time). With a recommended rotation time of 30 minutes per participant and with equipment (skis, boots, helmets) provided free of charge the price is equivalent to £25 per person, per session for a group of four. Individual bookings are also available at £125 for a one-hour session or £75 for a 30-minute session.

South Wilts Ski Club is located in Bapton, near Salisbury and Warminster, with easy access from the A36 and A303. It has an on-site alpine-style clubhouse which offers complimentary hot and cold drinks and provides a welcoming environment for skiers and spectators.
